I’m just saying it’s not in the actual phone. I don’t doubt that this feature is visible in the tools that the CSRs use to emulate each type of phone. And at the Play Store, I did get plenty of hits on “inbuilt call blocking,” but those are all third-party apps… no native (“inbuilt”) app from Motorola, Google, or Consumer Cellular.

I did the factory reset over the weekend, and the option still wasn’t there.

She suggested that I try a factory reset, and if that didn’t work, I could download “inbuilt call blocking” at the Play Store. (I tried with multiple numbers in the call log, just to make sure there wasn’t some special problem with the first number!) She had no trouble finding it, but I definitely don’t have it. The very patient CSR walked me through every step required to see this menu item. I HOPE THAT EVERYONE THAT READS MY POST, DOES THE SAME THING. SO THAT IS WHAT THEY GET FOR WORKING FOR SCAMMERS. I HATED TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT, BUT THEY WOULDN’T LISTEN. THIS SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY THING THAT HAS WORKED FOR ME, GIVING THEM AN EARACHE. I HAVE PUT ALL OF THEIR PHONE NUMBERS ON ANY REPORT THAT I CAN FIND, SO EVERYONE KNOWS THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS. Same thing, when I told them that I didn’t have any credit cards. They would hang up on me as soon as I told them to remove my name. I told them to remove my name, that I did not have any credit cards.

When they 1st started calling, you could call them back. I just got sick of them calling and had to do something. This has happened probably 100 or more times this year. If you call them back at the number that is listed in your phone Id, you get that number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. I have given them MANY warnings that I was going to do this and they didn’t listen. When they answer, I give them my name and blow real hard with a whistler. One of their names is Credit Card Services, which is a bogus namae to start with and I don’t havve any credit cards. I have verfied there phone numbers and put them on that list, but what is working the best, when they call, I know who they are. I have REGISTERED all of my phone numbers with the DNC list.
